Sure. You can cancel any time, you're charged on the 1st of every month as well as when you originally pledge so if you want to cancel, I'd make sure to cancel before the 1st so you don't get charged again.
Yes, your pledge will be automatically renewed on the 1st of every month.
Unfortunately not, Patreon doesn't allow for such things.
Sure, if you accidentally pledge in the last 3 days of the month I'm absolutely willing to refund your money back as that's too close to the 1st where you'd be charged again.
If you're a Patron you can link your account with discord in your profile settings. Selecting Apps you'll be able to connect your discord account with your Patreon account.
I currently don't have the time to take on any new shows I'm afraid. But if you like, you could try to become a part of the Pilot Tier for $30. From there you could select an episode a month of any show. Fair warning, spots in this tier sell out very fast. So if you're interested, make sure to keep an eye out for a spot there, good luck!
Horror shows are too scary for a wimp like me. I use to have nightmares over watching horror films in the past and I don't want to feel like that again, I already struggle to sleep as it is. So the answer is no, I won't be reacting to Horror shows. As for Zombie shows, I am afraid of Zombies; they have been my biggest fear since I was a child. All because I watched 'Shaun of the Dead' as a little kid and even though it's more of a comedy, it freaked me out enough to never want to deal with them again. However, I have reacted to season 1 of iZombie which was a huge deal for me.
Each week there is a schedule which you can find on the schedule page. You're also able to find a gif of the schedule on in a Patreon post, the announcement section of the Discord server and the community tab on YouTube (where I make notes in detail about said shows).
Binge and release means I binge the whole season of 'x' show before releasing the reactions. The show will likely go on a break for a couple months until the next season is binged as I do it in my spare time and have no set schedule to record them.
I didn't have a Patreon for the first 2 months of being a reactor. It also took me a bit to be able to upload full reactions to a cloud server as it costed money I didn't have at the time and back then I was deleting the full versions after editing to save space on my very small hard drive at the time. I have uploaded full reactions since.
I have a few reasons why I skipped episodes when reacting. Originally this was a hobby of mine and I wanted to be able to watch some of the episodes in bed rather than having to get ready on camera. As this became my job, I decided it was best to watch them all on camera but I was kinda late to the party for that one. I also didn't have a very big hard drive on my PC and would constantly run out of space. I wish I had reacted to every episode now, it's one of my biggest regrets of the channel.
Alternatively, an episodes reaction may be blocked and that might be why you see it being missing. Make sure to check the link at the top of each page to make sure you're not missing any of the episodes.
The writing process for the video has been scrapped multiple times and I've finally found a way I want to make the video but it's taking a lot of time as it's more of an overview for the whole series. I want to make sure that I really have something to say about it, something you haven't heard 100 times by now. I'm not the best with words as you know and so it's been hard to find the inspiration for what I want to say. I will say, I've worked very hard on it so far and I feel like I've made some real progress. I would ideally love to have it out by December 5th (the anniversary of the first episode of the show on my channel) but I can't guarantee it. The answer is yes, it's planned still and I can't wait until it's finished so I can share it with you all.
I started reacting because I saw others do it and I got to experience their first times watching some of the shows I grew up on and it made it feel like I was watching for the first time again through them and I wanted to do that for others, I also wanted to document the experience. It's also like watching with a friend, a lot of the time sadly your friends don't share the same taste in a particular show you love and watching someone's reactions can feel like you're hanging out watching your favourite show with them.
ANYTHING about upcoming episodes of a show that I am watching. If I have not seen it yet, it's a spoiler. I would like to go into recording a new episode as blind as possible regarding upcoming events, this is to provide everyone with a genuine reaction. And so I would like you to please refrain from posting spoilers, as it negatively impacts the reactions I have to watching a show for the first time, and as it also ruins the experience you and/or other people have come here for.
Some examples of what IS a spoiler,
Telling me I'm going to love/hate this next episode and/or season because you love/hate it too, because it's a fan favourite or because it's hated by all, Either raises or lowers my expectation and is thus dubbed a "Expectation spoiler". Do NOT post these kinds of comments.
The same goes, When you tell me I am going to love/hate a certain character, when I have only just been introduced to them, It tells me they are either a regular on the show or at the very least someone to look out for. I do NOT want to know this.
If I have accidentally missed something while watching an episode, something that might later on still get brought up. You do NOT need to call me out on it. If I absolutely need to know about this before going forward, one of my moderators / editors will inform me at the appropriate timing. They are often the ones who make the viewing schedules for my shows and so you can rest assured they are looking out that I am provided with the needed information.
If at any point while you are typing down a comment you might think that what you are about to post is or might be seen as a spoiler, Do NOT post it. On YouTube anything considered a spoiler will be deleted on sight by my moderators. Trying to hide a spoiler in some "clever" way gets you nowhere, as those will also be deleted. People have tried and continue to try, but my moderators are always watching. On Patreon my moderators may sometimes kindly ask you to delete or edit your comment as it's been classed as a spoiler, I ask you to please listen to them and don't try to argue with them. If they think it's a spoiler, they know that I think it's a spoiler too. Leaving your comment up on Patreon unedited after being asked to remove something means I will not be able to read it.
My rules on spoilers may be strict, but again, They are there to provide you all with a most genuine reaction.
I hope you now understand a bit better on what my spoiler policy is, and that you know what to look out for when commenting on a video.
I have made a video detailing the process which you can find on the YouTube Content page. I will detail it here in words for you.
It takes me 15 minutes to 45 minutes to get ready to record (make-up, getting dressed & hair - if I want to get fancy with it).
I launch OBS (Open Broadcast Software) on my second monitor, where I have video of myself and a rectangle showing my third monitor.
I open the episode I need to watch/react to on my third monitor and it becomes available to see on my OBS in the rectangle.
I hit record and for the next hour I watch/react to the TV show episode. OBS is recording both me and the episode itself. This saves so much more time then having to sync up the episode and my reaction together, which could take a further 1-2 hours per reaction to do - editing and rendering wise.
After the recording is done, I hit stop recording and it creates a file in my videos folder. I rename it as it auto saves as a date.
After naming the reaction, I upload the video file to a OneHub folder which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my internet.
While this is going on, I take a screenshot of the episode. I try to find a picture that details what happens in the episode, a recognizable moment. I also take a screenshot of the weirdest reaction moment I can find in the episodes reaction and I save them to their correct thumbnail folder.
I open the template for the thumbnail of the TV show and I add the episode picture, change the episode title and number and I add my reaction picture where I cut myself out making a PNG to add to the thumbnail. After all of this is done, I save a photoshop file and a Jpeg of the thumbnail. (A Jpeg is smaller and PNGs are often not able to be uploaded to YouTube due to size).
Once the file is finished uploading, I click a little chain icon on the file in OneHub where it allows me to copy and share the link with people.
I open Patreon.com/aftershowreactions and I click to create a new post. I select the option to post a picture where I upload the thumbnail for the episodes reaction and title the post after the episodes reaction (the same name as I named the file to begin with). In the description of the post, I write link: (LINK HERE) and then I select the tier the post should be at, which is most likely the Premature Reaction Tier for $7 and I hit post. This is the full reaction done.
To edit the reaction for YouTube, I open Sony Vegas Pro 16.0 and I drag the file into the program. I spend the next hour and a bit cutting the reaction down. Sifting through the reaction and cutting it as close to 10 minutes as possible. If that's not possible, I'll cut it to 20 minutes and then separate them so I have two parts to a reaction. I'll make sure that the cut segments aren't longer than 10 seconds of footage. I'll likely have made 3 different versions of the reaction, a 20 minute cut and two 10 minute cuts.
I'll add the intro and outro of the reaction to all of the parts and hit render on each of them which usually takes about a half hour for each version of the edit.
I don't usually edit much anymore so my editors actually upload their edits to a OneHub folder after testing them on their own channels (privately of course) and I download those to upload to YouTube. (A big thank you to them).
After this, I'll upload the reactions to YouTube which takes about another half hour to upload (maybe more) as it needs to upload, process & do checks. There is a 80% chance the reaction will get blocked and I'll have two options, I can either dispute the reaction which I'll go into next, or I can re-edit out the segment YouTube has issue with. Which means more editing and rendering time.
Disputing a video is completely safe to do, all you need to do is click to dispute and select that it falls within copyright laws and fair use. Give a good reason why you believe this and sign your name. Depending on the claim, they will do 1 of 3 things. They will release the claim and you're able to publish the video with monetization (if the video is claimed still but says it's viewable you won't receive monetization for that but that's okay because the reaction is out there and available to see). Sometimes a claim can take a day to release, or 3 weeks. Another option that can occur is that they will refuse to release the claim and you'll need to re-edit the reaction or come up with another way around it. You can challenge the refusal but that's when you're risking a copyright strike on your channel and 3 strikes, you will lose your channel. But after 6 months of having a strike, it goes away. The third thing that can occur is that after 30 days, nobody responds to the claim and your video is released anyway, you'll be able to post the video no issue.
When posting the reaction, I usually name it slightly differently than I do the full reaction so I can tell them apart. I copy in the description template I have for the show and add in something I thought about the episode in there as well. I add it to the playlist it needs to be in and upload the thumbnail, I go through all the extra options I need to go through before hitting publish.
Your video is now up and readily available for people to watch... until a claimant comes along and blocks it 20 minutes into the video being up. This is just the experience of one reaction of many on the channel.
I hope by detailing all of this, you learned a few things about content creation on YouTube.
Most of my content originally was shows that had already aired and I knew I would be reacting so the name just kinda flowed to me. After Show (after a show had aired) Reactions. I eventually did shows that were just beginning but that was the original intent for the name.

Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your pledge anytime. The money paid for the previous subscription will be recalculated to the new pledge and you'll have access to that tiers content.
However, changing your pledge to $30 when the Pilot tier is already full will not give you the same privileges as the people at that tier.
I regret to inform that as of the 8th of April, 2025 I have closed down my PO Box. I used to do Fanmail Unboxing videos when I received things in the mail, you can still find those videos here:
I had to close the PO Box since the cost of keeping it open just became too much.
If you have any questions or comments you can send them through here :)
We'll try get back to you as soon as we can.
