AVENGERS: ENDGAME REVIEW NOTES
AVENGERS: ENDGAME REVIEW NOTES
I sat down to watch a cam-cord version of the movie to make notes for a video. I am not making a video anymore.
Enjoy the notes.
THESE NOTES ABSOLUTELY CONTAIN SPOILERS - SO GO WATCH THE MOVIE FIRST PLEASE!
I’d like to let it be known before anything, there are no end credits or mid credits scenes.
BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE
THE PICNIC:
Hawkeye teaching his daughter to be an archer.
The Snap happens and he loses his family, exactly what I thought the movie would begin with.
THE BENETAR:
Tony and Nebula playing a game, and it was really cute she was winning and didn’t understand how as she’s never won anything before. I just love Nebula in this scene.
Tony making a goodbye for Pepper was sad but I knew he’d make it home so I wasn’t too sad about it.
When Captain Marvel showed up I was both surprised and not surprised, I genuinely though the end credits scene for Captain Marvel where she arrives was going to be in this movie but it wasn’t so it feels a bit out of place if you’re watching Infinity War and Endgame back to back.
OUTSIDE THE COMPOUND:
When Tony arrived home I was a little disappointed in his and Pepper’s reunion, but Tony feeling guilty for losing Peter was great.
Groot and Nebula holding hands over all that they lost was really emotional.
INSIDE THE AVENGERS COMPOUND:
They talk about who’s lost: Sam Wilson, Erik Selvig, Wanda Maximoff, Hope Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Scott Lang, Peter Parker, Shiri, T’Challa, Nick Fury were shown.
I love how Tony looks in this scene as he’s on an IV and in a wheel chair very malnourished it’s super sad to see him like this. I then laughed my head off when Rocket explained why Thor was upset and Tony’s response was “Honestly until this exact second I thought you were a build a bear”.
I love Tony’s guilt and just the way he flips out, it almost feels like he’s going to go back on the booze. It’s really telling for his character and I honestly just wanted to hug him during this scene.
He rips off his arc reactor and gives it to Steve as though he’s had his heart ripped out, it’s quite poetic.
Carol just sayin’ bye I'm gonna go kill Thanos was like “I'm better than you guys, you guys failed I wont”… just sounded a bit arrogant but I mean, tony has been arrogant in the past and she doesn’t know these people so I get it. But they also call her on it which is nice.
I love that they choose to fight again, and go to get Thanos as though the fight is still not over.
THANOS’ COTTAGE:
Thanos is just livin' the life of a farmer and it’s kinda cute.
They all break in and take him down easily and I was thinking oh yeah sure this is what happens when you introduce an OP character like Captain Marvel.
Then Captain America shows up with Black widow to his right and I instantly though omg no one is on his left anymore like normally he shows up with two people by his side and I got all sad.
Then it’s revealed that the stones are destroyed so that’s why he was easily subdued.
It’s interesting to note here that I know Banner can’t hulk out and he’s in the Hulkbuster suit but he does get angry and throws Thanos across the room, it just kinda shows how buried the hulk has gone.
Then you hear Thanos say the words “I am inevitable” a phrase that is important to the end of this story.
Thor cuts off Thanos’ head and Rocket asks “What did you do?” to which Thor replies with “I went for the head” everyone in the audience giggled at this because it’s such a meme now but the look on Thor’s face, he’s literally lost it – it’s not even a joke, he’s so emotionally scarred by this that he walks out like he has no purpose or place in the world.
FIVE YEARS LATER
Yes there’s a fucking 5 year jump like this feels like a new movie from here onward.
The whole world sounds quiet as hell it’s literally a ghost world now.
SURVIVORS ANONYMOUS:
I loved that one of the Russo’s is talking about going on a date here. It’s literally such a cute little cameo and I loved it.
The idea that they went on a date and they both just cried about what they’ve lost on a date, it really shows how society has changed in the 5 years that have past as this would be weird to experience normally.
Steve talking about moving on was really sad because you really realize that he still has not moved on from the moment he lost Peggy.
SAN FRANCISCO:
Immediately knew this was gonna be Antman coming out of the Quantum Realm.
I named the mouse “Sir Admiral Whiskers” by the way so like fight me.
He asks a kid what happened and he just ignored him like why?
All the tombstones the way they were laid out was really sad but also kinda perfect for the way it happened because obviously there wasn’t bodies, people just vanished.
When he meets his daughter all grown up, I got a bit teary eyed. Like just imagine, 5 years you think your dad was snapped away, it was just done really fucking well.
AVENGERS COMPOUND: THE MEETING:
I hated Captain Marvels hair, I get that its comic accurate, but I hate it. I liked it longer. Her saying you probably won’t hear from me for a while to me, because I heard they were doing reshoots a while back, it felt like. She was originally in the movie for most of it, but because people didn’t like her they reshot her scenes and this was them writing her out of the movie until the end. It almost comes off as though Brie Larson was annoyed when she says the line that she won’t be around for a while as though she was disappointed in not being in much of the movie.
I loved Black widows hair here, so nice.
She and Rhodey talking about the things that Clint has been doing was really emotionally charged to see as she and Clint have been friends for years and to see him do such horrible things, things that she herself has done her past, you can see she’s barely holding it together.
I also just love the scene with Nat and Steve here, they’ve really grown as a friendship. When they talk about moving on and I kept hoping in my mind, move on with each other – there’s not much in this world, make of it what you can… hearing Nat talk about the Avengers as her family was gorgeous to hear.
Scott proposing the idea of time travelling is exactly how I thought this movie would go, and I got super hyped because this meant we could be going to 2012 the Battle of New York.
TONY’S COTTAGE:
Literally cant even, Tony as a dad I was hoping he had a child especially after he spoke to Pepper about having one.
I felt like the kid should have been ginger though, but I guess the more Tony looking she is the better due to the way Tony’s story arc ends.
I love that they ask Tony about time travelling and he is so against the idea of messing things up worse as he has a lot more to lose now.
I love that Pepper sent their little girl to save Tony from the conversation it was cute as.
THE DINER:
INTELLIGENT HULK WAS MAGNIFICENT.
The idea that infinity war had no hulk and endgame had no banner, it was kinda hilarious to think about.
The fact that everyone blames themselves over what happened is really sad.
I love that the hulk was actually happy with who he was for once.
The selfie taking bit with Scott was super awkward and cringey I just wanted it to end lol!
TONY’S COTTAGE PART 2:
Tony’s dad’s photo was next to the one with him and his surrogate son Peter it was so cute and demonstrated how much guilt he actually has to the extent that he actually figures out time travel.
Tony is such a fucking cute dad.
“I love you 3000” that was literally cute as and the fact he jokingly rubs it in to Pepper, I just can’t.
The fact that they single headedly fixed Peppers character in this scene. I always felt like Pepper was a little selfish, like Tony would want to go save the world all the time as he was a hero and she would be like no don’t I don’t want to lose you, and that’s fine… but I mean, he’s a hero – let him be a hero!
The fact that she literally lets him be a hero, it really shows that she finally gets it. She can’t stop his calling and in the end, she ends up helping herself with the Iron Suit he made for her. I just loved it.
THE TIME TRAVEL TEST:
Antman comes back as a teenager, then an old man (would have been more funny I think if it was Stan Lee, but we’ll get to that cameo later anyway) and then he comes back as a baby as well which made everyone laugh. Then he came back as himself.
The fact that the hulk is so impressed with this made me laugh, he’s so positive now!
Tony and Steve’s moment making the deal was beautiful, he gives back his shield in a way to repair their friendship and it was sweet.
NEW ASGARD:
Seeing Valkyrie was good again.
Thor being overweight was funny for about 5 minutes but it got old really fast for me.
You could argue he was turning into his father more and more, but I just couldn’t take him seriously.
I liked that they incorporated Fortnite into the movie as there’s currently going to be a Avengers Endgame tie in to Fortnite like what they did with Infinity war so it was nice, but this also implied that people would still be playing Fortnite in 5 years time and that was funny. Not to mention that the map would still be the same in 5 years time as well.
They also didn’t seem to understand the way the game worked as Thor argued with someone through microphone as though it’s an open mic game which it is not, but they wanted the joke so meh.
Korg again was awesome, I love Korg.
When Hulk mentions Thanos and fixing things, and Thor gets all emotional about it – I just couldn’t take him seriously, it just came off as campy and jokey to me which was really sad since I loved Thor in Ragnarok and infinity war. His tone was just wrong in this movie.
TOKYO:
Clint being a badass was awesome, killing evil people that survived the snap. It was strange, why would he do it really, they didn’t harm him or anything but oh well it was awesome so I accept it.
The way that Natasha just gives Clint the hope he needs to get into the battle, it’s just so heart-warming to see these two after everything they’ve gone through. “Don’t give me hope” and the “I’m sorry I couldn’t give it to you sooner” and she goes to grab his hand, brilliant.
PREPARING THE TIME MACHINE:
They bring up the idea of killing Thanos before he dies brings parallels to the obvious question of if we went back in time to kill Adolf Hitler as a child which was an interesting Parallel.
Clint testing out the time travel was really interesting to see as you see this character that has fallen so far down the hole of revenge go back and see the family he lost, it’s quite heartbreaking as it’s not the same Clint we saw at the beginning of the movie and you can really just feel it.
FIGURING OUT THE TIMES:
I thought it was interesting when Natasha was like “pick the right year and there’s 3 infinity stones in New York” (the New York sanctum has the time stone) as I recently watched Avenger 2012 with my friend and was like, if you think about it – Loki has two infinity stones in this movie and he doesn’t even know it.
Thor talking about the Reality stone just made him seem really dumb… idk just didn’t like Thor this movie which is a shame. His delivery of this whole thing just comes off as jokey.
TEAM 1: THE BATTLE OF NEW YORK – AVENGERS 2012 (Tony, Steve, Hulk & Antman):
The Hulk being embarrassed of past Hulk was funny as, and the idea that he literally doesn’t have anger anymore and sucks at smashing was funny as hell I couldn’t even.
The idea that the sanctum was under attack and the ancient one was defending it was really nice to see as it was never really established that they even helped with that fight, but they did and nobody even knew.
Hulk talking to the ancient one, I legit for some reason thought he was going to hit on her for some reason idk! It was nice to see her as well.
TEAM 2: ASGARD – THOR 2: THE DARK WORLD (Rocket Raccoon & Thor):
This made me miss Loki
Thor wanting to do nothing but drink… urgh… seeing his mother was a nice moment though.
Thor ditching Raccoon after the pep talk, really…
TEAM 3: MORAG – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 1. (Rhodey & Nebula):
It was nice to see Gamora and Nebula a bit more in this, it further shows that Gamora is a better fighter than Nebula and she hates her for it.
It’s nice because this basically happens before the Guardians movie begins which is a nice tie in.
We get to see Nebula’s loyalty here which is interesting, I loved the idea that both Nebula’s would be sharing the same network, it’s a nice way to up the stakes. It’s also really nice that they are using the same equipment to gather her memories as Thanos used in infinity war to learn about Gamora finding the soul stone.
TEAM 1: THE BATTLE IS OVER:
Everyone making a joke about Captain America’s ass reminded me a lot of the “language” joke in age of ultron.
It was nice to see the hydra boys again with Sitwell and Crossbones knowing full well they’re hydra and its funny that they even comment on how they’re hydra and how they even look evil ahah.
I like that they setup Loki pretending to be Captain America as well.
I LOVE THE WAY THEY SETUP THE SCENE WITH CAPTAIN AMERICA IN THE ELEVATOR LIKE IN WINTER SOLIDER AS THAT WAS AN AMAZING SCENE BUT WHAT I LOVE MORE IS THAT HE WHISPERS IN CITWELLS EAR “HAIL HYDRA” WHICH IS HILARIOUS FOR THE MAIN REASON OF HOW CONTROVERSAIL THAT COMIC BOOK PANEL WAS, the whole theatre laughed their heads off.
I love that they give tony a callback to his heart problems with his arc reactor.
Loki disappearing with the tesseract makes for an interesting moment as he’s suppose to be locked up for thor 2… what happens to that now?
I love Cap vs. Cap, made me chuckle that he thought that was Loki. The idea that he stops him by saying “Bucky is alive” was hilarious.
Hulk convincing the ancient one was interesting. When Bruce said Dr. Strange gave it away it made me so worried that it would change things and she’d never choose Strange, but it’s the reason she gives the stone to him. As she knows it would be the ONLY way. Which I found awesome.
THANOS GAMORA & NEBULA:
Thanos learning everything was so sneaky, I really liked it.
I found it interesting that Thanos never considered that perhaps Nebula was fixing the mistake to save Thanos.
TEAM 2: THOR & HIS MOTHER:
The fact that his mother immediately knew he wasn’t her Thor was quite a nice surprise, but again it was played off like a joke and again it was supposed to be an emotional scene that I just didn’t feel because of the jokey nature.
Thor talking about how he killed Thanos was a nice moment though.
I love that he grabs Mjolnir and realizes he is still worthy. I feel like he should have magically changed back into his old self, but that didn’t happen so we have a bit of an unfit Thor for the rest of the movie…
TEAM 3: NEBULA, RHODEY & STARLORD:
I love the callback to the beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy with Peter singing, it was nice.
I also thought it was nice that Nebula was experiencing what past Nebula was learning as well which really shows the growth of her character going immediately warn the others that Thanos is learning everything.
TEAM 1: TONY & STEVE NEW JEASEY 1970:
STAN LEE CAMEO I AM SO HAPPY THEY HAD ONE FOR THIS MOVIE. RIP STAN
I find it interesting that they went here for the tesseract since they had another shot in the 90s as we learned in Captain Marvel, which furthers my point about removing a lot of things to do with Captain Marvel from the movie, which is fine because we get some amazing moments from this time period instead.
Tony gets to speak to his dad about having a family and it’s literally so sweet, the fact he names himself Howard Pott’s was so silly but so wholesome. He even hugs him and it was so cute. I also loved that Howard Stark’s drivers name was Jarvis. Nice tie in.
I love how naïve that Hank Pym was in the 70’s that he falls for a fake call and leaves his Pym particles unattended for Steve to steal. Ahhh, the 70’s a different time they were.
Steve has a moment where he takes a look at his old life, and sees Peggy and it reminds him of all the things he never got to have.
TEAM 4: VORMIR (NATASHA AND CLINT):
When they arrived here for the stones, I immediately realized one of them needs to die for it to be revealed… I then thought the obvious answer was Clint as he’s fallen so far that his guilt would ruin him if Natasha died.
But by the end of the film I realized, Clint had a family to go back to and Natasha didn’t have a significant other or a life like Steve and her talked about to which is why I think she was the obvious choice, that didn’t stop me from crying though. Even my dad cried, he LOVES Black widow so the whole time after the movie he continually complained about how she died.
I love that they both fight to sacrifice themselves it was so honorable and I just couldn’t.
It’s haunting that when she lands on the ground her red hair mixed with blood on the ground it was really haunting.
But I feel like it lost a bit of emotional impact that the music playing was the exact same music as when Gamora was killed so it was like not special if that makes sense?
THEY RETURN:
When the team finds out Natasha died, it was extremely sad. Clint talking about how it was suppose to be him, like he feels guilty I JUST LOVE THE GUILT THEY ALL FEEL OVER THIS MOVIE. IT SHOULD BE CALLED AVENGERS GUILT GAME.
I love how in denial Thor was in this scene, assuming they can bring her back it was a great moment.
I also love that even though The Hulk is all happy and positive he manages to get angry over this which shows a slight I guess payoff to their relationship in age of Ultron.
Tony makes an Iron INFINITY GAUNTLET HELL YEAH.
I hate the discussion about who should wield the gauntlet since it just came off as a dick measuring contest and then Thor made it awkward again with his weird jokey upset like personality idk yuck.
I like that Hulk is one though, I feel like it fits quite well as he’s kinda similar to the size of Thanos as well!
I love that everyone gets in their party suits incase something goes wrong as well.
THE SNAP & THANOS ARRIVES:
Antman goes into a room and you see birds flying around radiantly like the light has just returned to the world and then Clint gets a phone call, everyone appears to be back but before you can fully grasp that… Thanos blows up the whole building. I love this because it made me forget everyone came back.
I couldn’t believe the strength of Rhodey here, he literally doesn’t have the use of his legs and saved rocket.
I really appreciate the fact that Nebula gets through to Gamora and I just love their relationship. It’s sad we won’t get more of it since she died
I love that Antman grows into Giant-Man to save everyone in the building from drowning, hell yeah!
I also love that Past Nebula takes the glove and present nebula tells her she can change, but the second she aims her gun at Gamora, present nebula goes right for the kill without hesitation – what does this mean for her character now? Does she not exist?
THOR, IRON MAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA ASSAULT:
Thor getting both his weapons and his hair getting done was cute, just again wish we had fit Thor.
I’m a little disappointed that Thanos turned into a basic “gonna destroy all and begin a new” villain as before he was about balance, but I mean I guess I get it but meh.
Thor using Stormbreaker and hitting mjölnir was awesome.
Thanos beating the shit out of all of them was crazy since he didn’t even have any of the stones.
They zoomed in on mjölnir and I was like oh boy please, please, please… cap please… Thanos is about to kill Thor with storm breaker and all of a sudden
CAP knocks him on the head with mjölnir and the whole audience gasps and then claps, everyone was so fucking excited I couldn’t believe my eyes, what a fucking payoff to that scene in age of Ultron. Captain America is worthy.
He then uses it in unison with his shield and I can’t this was just fucking epic, so epic that it’s like HOW DID HE USE THE THUNDER? THAT’S NOT WHAT THE HAMMER IS BUT I DON’T CARE BECAUSE IT’S JUST SO EPIC. This whole scene was epic.
Thanos regains the fight though which makes me sad the whole Chitari army shows up along with the children of Thanos and we get this moment of pure silence where he’s like oh god this is it. This is the end.
AND THEN… you hear the words “On your left” AND THE WHOLE CROWD CHEERS AS A SINGLE PORTAL OPENS and then like 20 more with EVERYONE COMING OUT THAT WAS BROUGHT BACK FROM THE SNAP I CANT OKAY LETS GO THROUGH THE EPICNESS OF THIS. MY ReACTIONS WERE AS FOLLOWS:
Black Panther, Shiri ready for combat and Okoya BITCH THEY LOOKIN GREAT I FORGOT THEY WERE SNAPPED BACK I CANT, FALCON COMES THROUGH YIKES OMG HES ON HIS LEFT
DOCTOR STRANGE YOU BEAUTY WITH MANTIS, DRAX AND STARLORD HOLY FUCK GUARDIANS VOL 3 HERE WE GO THEN SPIDERMAN SWINGIN THROUGH FUCK YEAH HES FEELIN GOOD NOW
THE FUCKIN wAKANDA ARMY YEAH BITCH WE GOT AN ARMY TOO.
BUCKY GROOT YES MY BABIES
VALKYRIE HAS HER PEGASUS WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WHAT IS THIS I CANT WANDA YES OMG PLS TAKE ALL THE BADGUYS OUT
WONG WHY U NOT AT THE SANCTUM BUT U CAN STAY
HOPE U JOINED THE BATTLE JUST LIKE U WANTED YES BABY
OMG PEPPER IN AN IRON SUIT AGAIN YESS SIDE NOTE THO DAD WAS LIKE WHO THE FUCK IS THAT AND I LAUGHED CUS HE DUMB AS IT WAS FORSHADOWED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE WHEN TONY WAS LIKE SHE NEVER WEARS ANYTHING I MAKE HER.
AND THE BATTLE REALLY STARTS.
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE:
CLAPPPPPPPPP!!!
SO THEY ALL ENTER INTO BATTLE AND I SWEAR TO GOD I THOUGHT THEYD END THE MOVIE THERE, THAT’S HOW ELATED I WAS I LITERALLY THOUGHT IT WAS OVER I LEGIT THOUGH THIS WAS A TRICK I CANT
I just can’t say how excited I was during this whole sequence, I don’t know how to even write notes for this at this point.
Pepper and Tony have a team-up moment
Thor gives mjölnir to Cap and takes Stormbreaker from him saying he can have the little one, funny but again Thor just felt off for me in this movie.
Peter talks to tony about the snap and tony gives him a hug and it’s so sweet
Starlord is saved by past Gamora, and he has this omg she's alive moment only for her to kick his ass for touching her which was funny and she says to Nebula “this is the one? Seriously?” and nebula was like “your choices were him or a tree” which was funny af.
Scott and Hope work on getting the van time machine working and it was a cute moment because she really wanted to be in the fight in civil war but he never took her and now she's there and omg I cant
Tony talks to Strange and asks him if this was the 1 shot and you start to hope desperately that it is.
One of the most satisfying moments of this entire battle is when Scarlet witch shows up and is kicking Thanos’ ass as he took everything from her. She really looks like she’s about to kill him but then Thanos shoots on his own men and it hurts her. I literally cheered so hard. I want a scarlet witch film
I love the callback to instant kill on the Spider-Man suit, perfect timing.
Captain marvel shows up and does her OP business and takes out the giant ship.
She takes the glove and there’s this one moment that I think a lot of people are going to complain about and I’m going to give you my thoughts on it.
Peter Parker says, “I don’t know how you’re going to handle all that” holding the glove and all these enemies are running towards them. Then it shows all the female avengers saying “Don’t worry she’s got help”.
I understand this shot seems very hand fisted to you, LOOK WOMEN ARE STRONG TOO. I feel kinda gross looking at this as I don’t like this kind of writing. Where it’s like GIRL POWER GIRLS ARE THE BEST blah blah. I’ve seen some people say it took them out of the movie entirely as it seemed as though they were trying TOO hard, and I think they were. It wasn’t necessary as we know they’re all badass, we don’t need a whole scene of all women fighting with women and that’s what makes them powerful.
IN SAYING THAT THOUGH.
Most of the women in this film are absent for majority of it due to the snap. It is more male lead with the exception of Black Widow and Nebula, and then they killed Black widow around the 2 hour mark so this movie contains more moments with males then females so I am okay with having a moment where they’re all here together fighting. I mean, they miss out on most of the movie – I say let them have a moment I guess. Still feels awkward and cringey but hey whatever. Sorry if this offends anyone, these are my thoughts so ya.
Then we see Captain Marvel take her go at it, she takes him on and we all expected her to beat him and for a minute it looks like she will but then he uses the power stone and beats her back and I actually laughed. Everyone was so scared about this “Captain marvel will be the most powerful avenger” and she isn’t, she put up less of a fight than Iron man in infinity war which I find hilarious myself. I don’t hate Captain Marvel, sorry if it sounds like I do – I just found it funny.
THANOS WITH THE GLOVE:
Thanos puts the glove on again I am shook man, isn’t that thing broken by now I was thinking?!
Doctor Strange gives Tony the signal that this is the 1 chance. It’s almost interesting to re-watch this scene as it’s like Tony looks over and is like “Is this it, is it worth trying this last final thing, does this one thing make a difference” and Strange giving him the signal is like him saying “yes it does”
Tony tries to take the gauntlet away one last time, or so we think.
Thanos says I am inevitable and snaps his fingers once again, immediately I thought nah, the gauntlet is broken by now for sure…
But then the stones were gone.
TONY TOOK THEM THE WHOLE FUCKING AUDIENCE GASPED
Tony says “…and I am Iron Man” and snaps his fingers.
FUCK what a line. PERFECT LINE. PERFECTTTTTTTTT.
Did he just snap them all to death cause like doesn’t that change the timeline?
Thanos sits down as he watches his whole army go to dust, and he dusts away.
Tony sits down and he dies I fucking shit you not I was bawling my eyes out, I knew going in he probably wouldn’t survive and I still wasn’t ready for when it happened.
I love Peter breaking down, losing another father figure. I adore Pepper accepting that this was how it was supposed to be, letting him know he can rest now. Since at the beginning of the film she mentioned would he be able to rest of he never did all of this. It was such a perfect moment. She finally accepted him for the hero is he, or I guess was…
RETURNING HOME:
Clint returns home to his family he lost it’s a sweet moment, but it’s like, he’s not the same man he was before the snap…
Peter goes back to school to see Ned? HASN’T IT BEEN 5 YEARS AM CONFUSED AT THIS
Tony’s speech I can’t, I love Tony. Stop making me cry.
Hope and Scott look proper together again which is nice!
It was so nice to see Happy in the goodbye scene since Jon Favreau is the reason this whole MCU exists.
THE FUNERAL:
The arc reactor made me cry again.
It was so sweet to see cameos from each character, Hulk in a suit I can’t its just funny.
Who was the Asian child with Clint's family and there was also this other random dude behind scarlet witch who I didn’t recognize.
There's a nice scene between Clint and Wanda where they talk about their loved ones being lost which is kinda sweeter when you think about how he is the reason she is an avenger. He’s the one that got her to step out of that building.
I loved Happy talking to Tony's daughter, it was so cute I can’t. I am so done with the feels of this movie.
THOR:
It was a bit random choosing Valkyrie as the queen of Asgard, it seemed very out of the blue.
He enters the guardians of the galaxy ship and has this cringey moment with Starlord that I was just like ehhhh again.
Does this mean Thor will be in Guardians of the galaxy vol. 3?
CAPTAIN AMERICA, HULK, BUCKY & FALCON:
I believe Captain America took back the stones and Mjölnir as Thor would need them In the past.
I knew when Steve went through that he wouldn’t come back, I knew he’d go back and live a life with Peggy – it leaves the question of what about her actual husband and her eventual granddaughter who eventually is a shield agent? Sharon Carter?
Old man Steve Rogers was a cutie and I guess Sam Wilson is now Captain America. Sweet scene but I think Bucky deserved it more.
I was sad that Bucky didn’t really get a goodbye.
Also how did they return the mind stone to the scepter and the space stone into the tesseract?
END SEGMENT
There’s a few problems with the movie, it’s not by any means flawless, but I fucking loved it. I don’t think I’ll ever be as excited for a movie ever again. The chills I got from the movie, the way it made me feel. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to recapture that feeling again. I saw the movie before it had come out for majority of the world as Australia got it first, and I immediately wanted to re-watch it or talk about it to someone. It was insane. I came out satisfied and even though it feels like the end, it’s not really as there will be more MCU movies, but it was an amazing wrap up to the trinity that is… or I guess was, Captain America, Iron Man and Thor.
Thank you for listening to my thoughts, I really appreciate everyone's time. Please if do or don’t agree with me, please comment about it with respect. This is just my opinions and views on the movie and I am literally writing about it a day after watching the movie for the first time.
